Devanahalli Bus Station
✈️ Details
▼
Devanahalli Bus Station (also called Devanahalli TTMC or Devanahalli Bus Stand) is the main BMTC bus terminus serving Devanahalli town in Bengaluru Rural district, on Tumakuru Road–NH 44 (old Bangalore–Hyderabad highway) about 40 km north of central Bengaluru. It is the starting point for BMTC services heading towards Kempegowda Bus Station (Majestic), KR Market, Hebbal, Yelahanka and Nelamangala, and is the closest BMTC terminus to Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), roughly 15 km away. There is no metro station at Devanahalli — the nearest operational Namma Metro is Madavara, the northern terminus of the Green Line (Silk Institute–Madavara), about 25 km south. The upcoming Blue Line (Silk Board–KIA) will eventually pass along the airport corridor, but no station is in service at Devanahalli as of 2026. The town is best known as the birthplace of Tipu Sultan and the site of the 18th-century Devanahalli Fort, both within walking distance of the bus stand.
